Every day that passes brings us closer to the harvest, that long-awaited—and intense—time of year. There are still a few weeks to go before we reap the fruits of a whole year of effort, observation and dedication. A year spent watching the sky, the earth, the vines… and, of course, the grapes.

After a surprisingly rainy spring, which tested our ability to control the vigour of the vineyard, today our vines are lively, healthy and eager. Everything points to a vintage with very good prospects, both in terms of quality and quantity. But there are still some key days ahead, days when we hope that nature will be kind and continue to accompany this process with the respect that only she can give…

And while this is happening, veraison has taken over the vineyards. It is a magical and fleeting moment: the grapes abandon the intense green of their youth and begin to take on the colours that will identify them when they ripen — the dark lilac of the red varieties, the pale gold of the whites. It is a natural chromatic spectacle that deserves to be seen live.

That is why, at Vinya els Vilars, we invite you to visit our winery and enjoy this visual and emotional wonder, accompanied, if you wish, by a glass of wine and a guided tour with us. We love to share our passion and explain how we experience the vineyard cycle from within, with respect and a very strong and natural bond with the land.
