The Vinya els Vilars winery will put aside the hustle and bustle of the grape harvest for a few hours to host a very special event: the unveiling of the sculpture ‘The Art of Wine,’ created expressly for the Vinya els Vilars winery by renowned Basque sculptor and singer-songwriter Joseba Gotzon.

This Saturday afternoon (7:00 p.m.), Vinya els Vilars will experience some very special moments with the official presentation of the sculpture, designed especially for the winery by multidisciplinary artist Joseba Gotzon.

Gotzon, a singer-songwriter and sculptor from Portugalete (Biscay) with more than 40 years of experience, already established a link with this Arbequina winery in the Costers del Segre DO in 2022, when its barrel room hosted his exhibition ‘El Ferro i la Veu’ for several weeks. That event culminated in an intimate concert by the artist that left an unforgettable impression.

The evening, which is free to attend, will begin at 7 pm on Saturday 6 September with the inauguration ceremony for the new sculpture, which will feature the collaboration of the grallers por la República, who will liven up the occasion with their traditional and energetic sounds. Afterwards, Joseba Gotzon himself will offer us his concert Gira ‘40’.
