On Saturday 5 July, the Vilars fortress will open its doors one more night to host a very special celebration, the TastJazz, the second of the summer events in the Iberian fortress organised by the Association Amics de Vilars. A night of music, food and wine, culture and heritage not to be missed.
The magic of summer returns to permeate the Iberian fortress of the Vilars d’Arbeca with the celebration of TastJazz, which this year reaches its 12th edition. On Saturday 5 July, from 9 p.m. onwards, this unique heritage site in Catalonia will open its doors to offer an unforgettable evening of live music, wine tasting and local gastronomy.
This year’s performance will be given by Joana Cebolla Trio and Cover H, starting at 10 pm. The ticket price, which will be sold directly at the fortress on the day, is €15 and includes: concert, a drink, two wine tastings and a gastronomic tasting.
As usual, the winery Vinya els Vilars, which is closely linked to the region and takes its name from the fortress, will be present with its wines. Also participating will be Adernats Vinícola de Nulles and products from the firm Argal, all of which will create a sensorial and cultural experience that combines jazz, history and good wine.
The TastJazz is part of the summer calendar of the Amics de Vilars Association, a non-profit organisation committed to the conservation and dissemination of the Arbequina and Garrigues heritage.
