Last Saturday, 6 September 2025, we enjoyed an unforgettable afternoon at Vinya els Vilars with the inauguration of ‘L’Art del Vi’, the work with which Basque artist Joseba Gotzon has paid a heartfelt tribute to our winery.

The sculpture, designed to resemble a bottle of wine, incorporates eight elements into a polychrome iron structure symbolising the different types of wine, while also incorporating the colour green in a clear reference to the distinctive colour of Les Garrigues.

The inauguration was a very special moment: family and friends of the winery gathered together with the artist, with a notable representation of the artist’s friends from La Floresta and the presence of the mayor of Arbeca, Mr Francesc Roset.

The afternoon was filled with art and music: Joseba, with more than 40 years of experience as a singer-songwriter, gave an intimate concert with songs from his ‘40’ tour and his latest album. In addition, the Grallers per la República brought a festive and traditional touch to the celebration. All this was paired with wines from Vinya els Vilars, sharing sensations, laughter and knowing glances.

A huge thank you from the entire Vinya els Vilars family to Joseba Gotzon for his creativity and sensitivity: thank you for thinking of us, for putting your art at the service of the winery and giving us a new piece that sits alongside our collection of works by artists from the region.

It was undoubtedly an afternoon full of emotion, connecting us deeply with our land, our culture and, above all, with each other.
