With a 50% blend of merlot and syrah, and aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, Vilars is a complex, elegant, powerful and balanced wine. A wine that speaks loudly, leaves its mark and reminds us, with every sip, where we come from and where we want to go.

It all began in 2002, when we planted the first vineyards in Arbeca. Two years later, the first Vilars saw the light of day. That first bottle contained not only wine, but also all the hope and energy of a project born from the land that surrounds us. A project that has made Vinya els Vilars one of the leading wineries in the Costers del Segre DO.

Vilars is not just a name. It is a statement of intent, a look at the past that is proudly projected into the future. The name connects us to the Iberian fortress of Vilars de Arbeca, a historical footprint that reaffirms our commitment to the heritage, landscape and culture of the territory.
